TITHING

Malachi 3:10  Let your tenths come into the store-house so that there may be food in my house, and put me to the test by doing so, says the Lord of armies, and see if I do not make the windows of heaven open and send down such a blessing on you that there is no room for it.
Malachi 3:11  And on your account I will keep back the locusts from wasting the fruits of your land; and the fruit of your vine will not be dropped on the field before its time, says the Lord of armies

Tithing is the gateway for the believer into the covenant of blessings.  A tithe is the 10th part of our income that we give to God, which enables Him to move on our behalf in the area of blessings.

God is the creator of everything that exists.  He owns everything and we are simply stewards of what we have been entrusted with.  The tithe principle is:  “He gives unto us; we give back one-tenth of all that He has blessed us with.”

Tithing is intended to be a joy and a blessing.   Our giving should not be reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.  It’s all in your attitude.  Let your giving come from the heart that is overflowing with God’s love and abundant grace.

2 Corinthians 9:7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Tithe out of the will of God, and not your own, ensuring that you do not miss out on God’s greatest blessings in your life!
