MERCY

Psalm 145:8-9

8.  The Lord is full of grace and pity; not quickly angry, but great in mercy.
9.  The Lord is good to all men; and his mercies are over all his works.

Patience and softness are part of divine nature.  We’re only able to receive this through God the Holy Spirit’s mercy.   The divine nature, which these qualities are part of, is strong and distinguishable.
To be patient is not to overlook problems, but to take difficulties into consideration; to understand the frailness of human nature.  Softness is not a weakness; but it is to have control and to work sympathetically.
These qualities allow you to be service oriented for our Heavenly Father.  The broken-hearted will seek the patient and soft at heart for help and guidance. They grow in concession and trust.  They flourish where faith and obedience, to God’s Word, form the basis of their spiritual life.  This creates forgiveness for Christ’s sake.
Luke 6:35-36

35.  But be loving to those who are against you and do them good, and give them your money, not giving up hope, and your reward will be great and you will be the sons of the Most High: for he is kind to evil men, and to those who have hard hearts.
36.  Be full of pity, even as your Father is full of pity.

Jude 1:21

Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for life eternal through the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 51:3

For I am conscious of my error; my sin is ever before me.

God Bless!
