Faith

Read: Heb 11: 1- 16

'1. Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.'
'6. And without faith it is difficult to please God, because anyone who comes to Him, must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seeks Him.'
'12. So from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.'

The starting point is that we have to believe that God is who He says He is.  And the end is that we must believe His promises, that He will fulfill each and every one.

In our bible study group, we were asked what faith is?  Each person had his own explanation, maar die een wat uitgestaan het was, 'Faith is believing that, when I open the tap, water will come out.'

Faith to me, is knowing God is there, and seeing His promises being fulfilled.

Have a Blessed Day!
