2 Cor 1:3-4
3. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4. Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
People believe that their troubles will dissapear when they are encouraged and comforted by God. If this was the case, then people would only ask His help to relieve pain, and not because they love Him.
We must know that to be comforted also means that we will be strengthened and encouraged and that we will have faith in our abilities to handle our own problems. The more trials and tribulations we experience, the more we will be comforted by God.
When you feel overwhelmed, allow God to comfort you. Remember, every trial and tribulation you experience, enable you to help others experiencing similar problems.
